As a 4-year-old, she was shot in the leg while fleeing the genocide in Rwanda and lost her leg. As a teenager, she discovered that sitting volleyball was a sport for her. The sport has given her self-esteem, joy and dreams.
This year is the third time that Claudine and the team have qualified for the PL. The opening match on Thursday is against Brazil.
